About Max Olivier-Lacamp
Max Olivier-Lacamp (1914–1983) was a French journalist and writer renowned for his reporting on Asia, including the Partition of India and conflicts in Bengal and Korea. He won the prestigious Prix Renaudot in 1969 for his novel Les Feux de la colère and the Albert Londres Prize in 1958 for his journalistic work, and was a Grand officier de la Légion d'honneur as well as a member of the Académie des sciences d'outre-mer.
