Maurizio Maggiani

Maurizio Maggiani is an Italian novelist and journalist born in 1951 in Castelnuovo Magra, Italy. He gained prominence with works like Il coraggio del pettirosso (1995), which won the Viareggio and Campiello prizes, and Il viaggiatore notturno (2005), recipient of the prestigious Strega Prize, among other notable books such as La regina disadorna (1998) and recent publications up to 2024.
