Matthew Swanson

Matthew Swanson is an American children's author. With his wife, illustrator Robbi Behr, he has made the Cookie Chronicles, The Real McCoys, and other books for young readers. They live in Chestertown, Maryland. Life on the Moon, written by Swanson and illustrated by Behr, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Young People's Literature.
