About Matthew Klam
Matthew Klam (born 1964) is an American fiction writer and magazine journalist. His debut short story collection Sam the Cat and Other Stories (2001) won the PEN/Robert Bingham Prize, and his novel Who Is Rich? (2017) was named a New York Times and Washington Post Notable Book. Recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and Whiting Award, he has published in The New Yorker and taught creative writing at Johns Hopkins, American University, and Stony Brook University.
