Mary Gentle

Mary Rosalyn Gentle (born 29 March 1956) is a British science fiction and fantasy author known for her debut novel Hawk in Silver (1977), the Orthe duology (Golden Witchbreed and Ancient Light), the White Crow sequence, and her epic Ash: A Secret History, which won the Sidewise Award for Alternate History in 2000.
