About Martin Gidron
Martin J. Gidron (born 1969), an American author also known as Martin Berman-Gorvine, is best known for his Sidewise Award-winning alternate history novel The Severed Wing (2002), which imagines Theodore Roosevelt winning a third term and leading the US into World War I. He grew up in the Philadelphia area, lived in Israel for six years, graduated from the University of Chicago in 1991 with a B.A. in English, and writes primarily in science fiction genres including alternate history, supernatural fantasy, space opera, planetary romance, and alien invasion.
