About Martin Amis

Martin Amis (1949-2023) was an acclaimed English novelist, essayist, and satirist renowned for his darkly comic explorations of late 20th-century society in works like Money (1984), London Fields (1989), and Time's Arrow (1991). He received the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for his memoir Experience (2000), was twice shortlisted or longlisted for the Booker Prize, and was knighted in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours for services to literature.
