About Mark Levine

Mark Levine (born 1965) is an American poet and nonfiction writer. He grew up in Toronto, attended Brown University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and has taught at the University of Iowa since 1999. His poetry collections include Debt (1993, National Poetry Series selection), Enola Gay (2000), The Wilds (2006), Travels of Marco (2016), and Sound Fury (2022); he received a Whiting Writers' Award, NEA fellowship, and Hodder Fellowship from Princeton.
