Marius Grout

Marius Grout (1903–1946) was a French writer and poet who became a teacher and joined the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in 1932, publishing his debut biography Kagawa in 1937. He achieved major literary success with his 1943 novel Passage de l'homme, which won the prestigious Prix Goncourt, and produced works blending mysticism, poetry, and prose until his death in Le Havre.Prix Goncourt List
