About Marie Ndiaye
Marie NDiaye is a French novelist, playwright, and screenwriter born on June 4, 1967, in Pithiviers, France, to a French mother and Senegalese father; she published her debut novel at age 17 and remains active, with recent works including a 2025 novel and a 2026 English translation longlisted for the International Booker Prize.
