Mariateresa Di Lascia

Mariateresa Di Lascia (1954-1994) was an Italian writer and politician known for her activism in human rights, anti-death penalty campaigns, and Radical Party leadership. Her posthumously published novel Passaggio in ombra (Passage in Shadow) won Italy's prestigious Premio Strega in 1995, marking her major literary achievement as a late-blooming author of introspective narrative fiction.
