Maria Stepanova

Maria Stepanova is a Russian poet, novelist, and journalist born in Moscow in 1972. She is the author of In Memory of Memory, longlisted for the 2021 National Book Award for Translated Literature. The Disappearing Act, translated from the Russian by Sasha Dugdale, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Translated Literature.
