About Marge Piercy

Marge Piercy (born 1936) is an American poet, novelist, and activist known for her feminist and progressive works, including the classics Woman on the Edge of Time (1976), He, She and It (1991, winner of the Arthur C. Clarke Award), and the New York Times bestseller Gone to Soldiers (1987). She has published over 17 novels and 17 poetry collections, such as The Moon Is Always Female (1980), and received numerous awards including the National Endowment for the Arts award (1978) and multiple poetry honors.
