Margaret Millar

Margaret Millar (1915-1994), a pioneering Canadian-American author of psychological suspense novels, won the Edgar Award for Best Novel for Beast in View (1955) and the Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award in 1983 for her lifetime achievements, including other notable works like The Iron Gates, Banshee, and series featuring detectives Paul Prye, Inspector Sands, and Tom Aragon.
