Marcel Aymé

Marcel Aymé (1902-1967) was a French novelist, playwright, and children's author renowned for blending fantasy with reality in his satirical tales of provincial life. His notable works include La Jument verte (1933), Le passe-muraille (1943), Les Contes du chat perché, and La Table aux crevés (1929), for which he won the Prix Renaudot.
