About Marc Lambron

Marc Lambron (born February 4, 1957, in Lyon) is a French novelist who won the Prix Femina in 1993 for L'Oeil du silence and the Prix des Deux Magots in 1989 for L'Impromptu de Madrid, among other awards including the Prix Colette; he was elected to the Académie française in 2014, occupying Seat 38. He is also a recipient of the Knight of the Legion of Honour and Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres. His notable works include 1941, Étrangers dans la nuit, and Une saison sur la terre.
