About M. T. Anderson

Matthew Tobin Anderson (born November 4, 1968) is an American author of children's and young adult literature, best known for his dystopian novel Feed (2002) and the historical duology The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation (The Pox Party in 2006 and The Kingdom on the Waves in 2008). He has received major awards including the National Book Award for Young People's Literature for The Pox Party the Margaret A. Edwards Award for lasting contribution to YA literature, a Newbery Honor for Elf Dog & Owl Head (2023), and multiple Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards M.T. Anderson official awards.
