About M. John Harrison
M. John Harrison (born 26 July 1945) is an English author and literary critic renowned for his Viriconium sequence (1971–1984) and the Kefahuchi Tract trilogy (Light, 2002; Nova Swing, 2006; Empty Space, 2012). His major achievements include the Arthur C. Clarke Award and Philip K. Dick Award for Nova Swing, the Goldsmiths Prize for The Sunken Land Begins to Rise Again (2020), and the Boardman Tasker Prize for Climbers (1989), establishing him as a major stylist in modern fantasy and science fiction.
