About Luis Romero
Luis Romero (1916-2009) was a prolific Spanish writer born and deceased in Barcelona, renowned for his postwar novels, short stories, historical studies on the Spanish Civil War, and biographies of Salvador Dalí. His most notable works include La Noria and El cacique, for which he won the prestigious Nadal (1951) and Planeta (1963) awards, respectively, along with the Ramon Llull Prize for Castell de cartes (1991).
