About Lorna Sage

Lorna Sage (1943-2001) was an English literary critic, academic, and author best known for her memoir Bad Blood (2000), which won the Whitbread Biography Award, and for editing The Cambridge Guide to Women's Writing in English (1999), a standard reference work. She taught English literature at the University of East Anglia, becoming professor in 1994, and contributed reviews to major publications like the London Review of Books and The Times Literary Supplement.
