Lois Lenski

Lois Lenski (1893-1974) was an American author and illustrator of children's literature, best known for her Regional series including the Newbery Medal-winning Strawberry Girl (1946), and Newbery Honor books Phebe Fairchild: Her Book (1937) and Indian Captive (1942), as well as the Mr. Small picture book series.
