Lewis Shiner

Lewis Shiner (born December 30, 1950) is an American author best known for his science fiction and cyberpunk works such as Frontera (1984), Deserted Cities of the Heart (1988), and the World Fantasy Award-winning novel Glimpses (1993). He contributed significantly to the Wild Cards shared universe, creating the character Fortunato, and later explored mainstream novels with magical realism elements like Dark Tangos (2011) and Outside the Gates of Eden (2019), often incorporating themes of rock music and counterculture.
