About Les Murray

Leslie Allan Murray (1938–2019) was an Australian poet, anthologist, and critic who published nearly 30 volumes of poetry over a 40-year career, including notable works like Subhuman Redneck Poems, Fredy Neptune, Translations from the Natural World, and Dog Fox Field. Regarded as the leading Australian poet of his generation, he received major awards such as the T. S.
