About Leon Edel
Leon Edel (1907-1997) was an American literary biographer and critic, best known as the foremost authority on Henry James, authoring a definitive five-volume biography (1953-1972) that earned him the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award in 1963 for volumes two and three.
