Leo Damrosch

Leo Damrosch (born 1941) is an American literary scholar and author, serving as the Ernest Bernbaum Professor Emeritus of Literature at Harvard University, with expertise in Romanticism, the Enlightenment, and Puritanism. L.L. Winship/PEN New England Award winner) and Jonathan Swift: His Life and His World (2013, National Book Critics Circle Award winner), as well as The Club: Johnson, Boswell, and the Friends Who Shaped an Age (2019, a New York Times best book).
