Laura Trentham

Laura Trentham is an American romance author known for her small-town contemporary romances set in the American South. She won the Vivian Award (formerly RITA) for Best Mainstream Fiction with a Central Romance for An Everyday Hero (2021). Trentham writes warmly realized stories about community, healing, and second chances. An Everyday Hero, featuring a wounded veteran and a single mother in rural Georgia, was praised for its emotional authenticity and its compassionate portrayal of military service and recovery. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and continues to write contemporary romance fiction.
