About Lamia Ziadé
Lamia Ziadé is a Lebanese-French author, illustrator, and visual artist born in Beirut in 1968, who grew up during the Lebanese Civil War before moving to Paris at age 18 to study graphic arts. The Dial. Her notable works include the illustrated memoirs Bye Bye Babylon, Ô Nuit, Ô Mes Yeux, My Great Arab Melancholy (Prix France-Liban and James Tait Black Biography Prize winner), and My Port of Beirut, blending personal trauma with Middle Eastern history.University of Edinburgh, The Dial.
