About Laird Hunt

Laird Hunt (born 1968) is an American author born in Singapore, known for novels such as Zorrie (2021 National Book Award finalist), Kind One (2013 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award winner and PEN/Faulkner finalist), and Neverhome (2015 Grand Prix de Littérature Américaine winner). He is a professor of Literary Arts at Brown University, a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow, and has translated works from French, with his experimental fiction spanning literary noir, speculative, and difficult fiction genres.
