L. A. G. Strong

Leonard Alfred George Strong (1896–1958), an English writer of proud Irish heritage, was a prolific novelist, poet, critic, and short story author best known for works like the novel Dewer Rides (1929), the short story \"Breakdown\" (a favorite of Boris Karloff), and poetry collections such as Dublin Days (1921); he won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for his short story collection Travellers (1945) and served as a director of Methuen Ltd.
