Kimberly Brubaker Bradley is an American children's author. She received Newbery Honor awards for *The War That Saved My Life* (2016) and *Fighting Words* (2021). *The War That Saved My Life*, about a disabled girl who escapes London during the Blitz, has become a modern classic of children's literature.
