Kenan Orhan

Kenan Orhan is a Turkish-American writer based in Kansas. His debut story collection, I Am My Country, was a finalist for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize and was longlisted for the Story Prize. His fiction has appeared in the Atlantic, the Paris Review, and The O. Henry Prize Stories and The Best American Short Stories. The Renovation, which began as a short story in the Atlantic, is his first novel and was longlisted for the Booker Prize 2026.
