Keith Feiling

Sir Keith Grahame Feiling OBE (1884–1977) was a British historian, biographer, and academic who served as Chichele Professor of Modern History at the University of Oxford from 1946 to 1950. He was renowned for his conservative interpretations of British history, notably in works such as A History of the Tory Party 1640–1714 (1924), The Life of Neville Chamberlain (1946), and Warren Hastings (1954), the latter earning him the James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 1954.
