Keishi Nagi

Keishi Nagi (real name Tetsuo Shimoda) is a Japanese novelist and physician born on October 13, 1951, in Tsumagoi, Gunma Prefecture, best known for his Akutagawa Prize-winning novel Diamond Dust (1989) and Amitabha Hall Newsletter (1995), with many works exploring themes of life, death, and mental illness drawn from his experiences with depression and panic disorder.
