Kathleen Atkins Wilson

Kathleen Atkins Wilson is an American illustrator and visual artist known for her work in children's literature and African American art, particularly illustrations featuring African heritage and spiritual themes. She illustrated notable works such as The Origin of Life on Earth: An African Creation Myth by David A. Anderson and contributed to I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King, Jr. earning the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award from the American Library Association and the African Studies Association Children's Africana Book Award.
