Katharine Graham

Katharine Graham (1917-2001), an American publisher and author, led The Washington Post from 1963 to 1991, overseeing its publication of the Pentagon Papers and investigative reporting on the Watergate scandal that led to President Nixon's resignation. Her most notable work, the memoir Personal History (1997), won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography in 1998. Pulitzer.org
