About Kate Wilhelm

Kate Wilhelm (1928-2018) was an American author renowned for her science fiction, mystery, and suspense novels and stories, including the Hugo Award-winning novel Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang (1976). She authored over 60 novels, won multiple Nebula Awards for short fiction such as "The Planners" (1968) and "Forever Yours, Anna" (1987), and was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2003.
