Karl Marlantes

Karl Marlantes (born December 24, 1944) is an American author and Vietnam War veteran who served as a U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant, earning the Navy Cross, Bronze Star, two Navy Commendation Medals for valor, two Purple Hearts, and ten Air Medals for his service. (2024).
