Karisma Price

Karisma Price is a poet, screenwriter, and media artist, and an assistant professor of English at Tulane University. A native New Orleanian with an MFA from NYU and BA from Columbia, her debut poetry collection I'm Always So Serious (Sarabande Books, 2023) was a New York Times Editors' Choice and won the 2025 Whiting Award.Tulane University, Karisma Price website, Poets.org
