About Juliana Spahr

Juliana Spahr is an American poet, scholar, and editor whose work connects lyric practice to ecology, labor, and politics. Her collection Ars Poeticas (Wesleyan University Press, 2025) won the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. She taught for many years at Mills College and continues to teach at Mills College at Northeastern University. Other books include That Winter the Wolf Came and the critical study Du Bois's Telegram.
