Julián Delgado Lopera

Julián Delgado Lopera is a Colombian writer and performer born in Bogotá in 1988. They are the author of Fiebre Tropical, which won a Lambda Literary Award and the Ferro-Grumley Award, and ¡Cuéntamelo!, a collection of queer Latinx immigrant oral histories. Pretend You're Dead and I Carry You, published by Liveright, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Fiction. They teach creative writing at CUNY and live in Brooklyn.
