About Judy Troy
Judy Troy (born 1951) is an American short story writer and novelist, professor emerita at Auburn University, where she served as Alumni Writer-in-Residence after teaching at Indiana University and the University of Missouri. She received the 1996 Whiting Writers' Award, and her story collection Mourning Doves was nominated for a Los Angeles Times Book Award. Her works include the novels West of Venus (a New York Times Notable Book), From the Black Hills, and The Quiet Streets of Winslow.
