Judy Blume

Judith Marcia Blume (née Sussman) was born February 12, 1938, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to a Jewish family. An American author of children's and young adult fiction, she has published over 26 novels, including notable works like Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret (1970), Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (1972), and Forever (1975), addressing puberty, sexuality, and family issues, with sales exceeding 82 million copies in 32 languages.
