Joyce Sidman

Joyce Sidman (born 1956) is an American poet and author of over 20 award-winning children's books, primarily nature-themed poetry. Notable works include Dark Emperor and Other Poems of the Night (Newbery Honor, 2011), The Girl Who Drew Butterflies (Sibert Medal, 2019), and Swirl by Swirl (Caldecott Honor).
