Josie Barnard

Josie Barnard is a British author, academic, and journalist known for her Virago-published novels and creative non-fiction, including the Betty Trask Award-winning debut Poker Face (1996), which was adapted into a Film Four short, and The Book of Friendship (2011); she is also the author of the Bloomsbury academic monograph The Multimodal Writer: Creative Writing Across Genres and Media (2019).
