Jonathan Kozol

Jonathan Kozol (born September 5, 1936) is an American writer, educator, and activist best known for his nonfiction books exposing inequalities in the U.S. public education system, including notable works like Death at an Early Age (1967 National Book Award winner), Savage Inequalities (1991), Amazing Grace (1995), and The Shame of the Nation (2005).
