Johanna Rutgera "Joke" van Leeuwen (born September 24, 1952) is a Dutch author, illustrator, and cabaret performer renowned for her children's literature featuring quests and imaginative themes, as well as novels and poetry for adults. Notable works include the internationally translated Iep!, Deesje, and Feest van het begin, for which she received the AKO Literatuurprijs. Her achievements encompass multiple Gouden and Zilveren Griffel/Penseel awards, the Constantijn Huygens Prize (2012), Gouden Ganzenveer (2010), and Theo Thijssen-prijs (2000) for her oeuvre.
