About John Wray
John Wray (born 1971) is an American novelist of Austrian-American descent, raised in Buffalo, New York, and currently living in New York City. He is the author of critically acclaimed novels including The Right Hand of Sleep (2001), which won a Whiting Award, Canaan's Tongue (2005), Lowboy (2009), The Lost Time Accidents (2016), Godsend (2018), and Gone to the Wolves (2023). His works have earned him a Guggenheim Fellowship, inclusion in Granta's Best Young American Novelists, and other honors.
