About John E. Mack

John Edward Mack (1929-2004) was an American psychiatrist, writer, and Harvard professor who won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography in 1977 for his seminal work A Prince of Our Disorder: The Life of T.E. Lawrence. His most notable books also include Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens (1994) and Passport to the Cosmos (1999), pioneering research into alien abduction experiences.
