About John C Wright

John C. Wright (born October 22, 1961) is an American science fiction and fantasy author best known for his Golden Oecumene trilogy (The Golden Age, The Phoenix Exultant, The Golden Transcendence), the Chaos series starting with Orphans of Chaos, and the Count to the Eschaton sequence. A Nebula Award finalist for Orphans of Chaos (2005) and winner of the inaugural Dragon Award for Best Science Fiction Novel for Somewhither (2016), he received five Hugo nominations in 2015 and praise from Publishers Weekly as a major new SF talent for his debut.
