About Joe Haldeman
Joe Haldeman (born 1943) is an American science fiction author best known for his novel The Forever War (1974), inspired by his Vietnam War experiences, along with Forever Peace (1997) and The Hemingway Hoax (1991), which have collectively won multiple Hugo and Nebula Awards. He has received the SFWA Grand Master Award (2009), induction into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame (2012), and numerous other accolades including Locus, World Fantasy, and Rhysling Awards for his works and poetry.
